***General Introduction***
This dataset contains data collected from the optical power meter in the optical laboratory at Eindhoven University
of Technology, as part of the publication mentioned above: doi:10.1109/JQE.2022.3224786

It is being made public both to act as supplementary data for publications and in order for other researchers to use this data in their own work.

***Purpose of the test campaign***
The purpose of this measurement was to measure the optical hysteresis, which demonstrates our device is bistable.

***Test equipment***
The measurement was performed using an HP 81635A photodetector module mounted in an Agilent 8163B mainframe. The SOA section
was pumped using a Thorlabs Pro8000 current source and DC probe needles. The SA was biased at 0mA using a Keitley 2401 SMU.

***Description of the data in this data set***
There are two files for Fig. 9. One file contains the data for the forward sweep from 0 to 100mA, the second file contains the data
for the backward sweep from 100 to 0 mA. In both files, column 1 contains the SOA current in mA, column 2 contains the optical power in linear units.
